Newborn-Sitting

A calm class with activities to develop babies physically and cognitively. Each class incorporates tummy time, lying on backs, lying on sides, tracking sounds and props and singing songs to aid babies development and engage them. We focus on one activity or prop at a time as we believe things can get overwhelming, and babies can be overstimulated at this age if there is too much going on.

A class full of songs, rhymes, props, instruments and activities to aid with language and cognitive development. We believe rhythm and music are extremely important and we focus on tapping, banging and shaking in time to the music each lesson to help babies begin to understand rhythm.

A class full of songs, rhymes, instruments, props and activities to develop language, knowledge of colours, animals, weather and many more topics. Children gain confidence in banging, tapping and shaking in time, and start to join in with movement and dance also.

The Potting Shed is a pub in Beverley, with a car park, and parents can leave pushchairs downstairs before heading upstairs to the beautiful event room for the class.

There is ample seating downstairs for a coffee or brunch after the class!

The Ferguson Fawsitt is a pub in Walkington, with a large car park, and there is plenty of space in the function room for parents to bring in pushchairs.

There is ample seating in the rest of the pub for a coffee, breakfast, brunch, or cake, before or after the class!
