Little Performers (3-5yrs)

12:30-1pm ~ Acting, Singing and Dancing ~ £4

 

Stage 1 (5-8yrs)

12:30-2pm ~ Acting, Singing and Dancing ~ £10

 

Stage 2 (8-10yrs)

1-3pm ~ Acting, Singing and Dancing ~ £12

Stage 3 (10+yrs)

2-4pm ~ Acting, Singing and Dancing ~ £12 ​​

Stage 1, 2 and 3 will work towards a showcase most terms. The children learn material for the showcase as well as playing some drama games and learning techniques through exercises.

Singing: Each class sings 1 or 2 songs from Musicals, or pop songs, focusing on performance as well as singing.

Dance: Each class dances to a Medley of songs chosen by the students, mainly pop and rock songs.

Acting: The Stage 2 and 3 Classes often work on script writing as a group, and performing their work in the showcase. They also learn scripts and monologues, and are directed by our acting teachers. Stage 1 perform poems or scripts and monologues adapted from well known story books, working on characters in the script.

The showcases are performed to parents in the school hall with theatre lighting. 

 

Little Performers focuses on games and exercises to build their confidence, use their imaginations, socialise and generally have fun being silly and dramatic! We also include some singing and dancing to well known nursery rhymes, pop songs, disney songs and musical theatre songs. We have a showcase lesson where parents can attend and watch the material the children have been working on, as well as some of the games they play. This is in the school hall with the theatre lighting.
