OXBOW LAKE PERFORMING ARTS.
carve your own path.
Our Teachers
Our teachers are all working in the performance industry and are passionate about both performing, and sharing their knowledge and skills with children. They are all DBS checked and we take children's safety and security very seriously.
As teachers, our goal is to give each child the best experience possible; focusing on their improvement each term and giving them a chance to shine every term.

Planning and teaching is a collaborative effort. We want everyone to be passionate about what we are working towards; that way our passion filters down to the children so they're excited to join us each week. It's therefore important that our teachers each have an input in planning the term's lessons and material for the end of term performance, and that we make theatre that the students are proud to be a part of.

We're Hiring!
Singing, Dance or Drama Teacher
Baby and Toddler Class Teacher
Volunteers
We are looking for reliable people to join our team at Oxbow Lake Performing Arts and Oxbow Lake Babies and Tots.
If you are hard working, enjoy working with children, are passionate about making a difference in children’s lives: giving them confidence to grow and learn in a nurturing environment, we would like to hear from you!
We have weekday and weekend roles available. All of our teachers need to be confident and energetic.

Baby Classes
Lesson plans are provided for our baby classes, it is helpful for the applicant to be able to sing, or hold a tune and to have basic knowledge of music (keep time to a piece of music).

Drama Classes
For our drama classes we like to collaborate and create the term of work together so as to always be passionate about what we are teaching and to ensure the children are enthusiastic about each lesson. A basic knowledge of dance, drama or singing would be needed, however the main focus is on creating performances so the children can grow in confidence each term and learn rhythm, movement, practice singing and speaking in front of their peers and an audience. So an ability to direct and run a class is the most important aspect of teaching.

The roles are all self-employed, and the pay is between £20-£40 per hour, depending on the role and experience.
Please contact Aimee via text for more details, or send over your CV and cover letter to the email address below.

Volunteers
We are always happy to welcome volunteers in for productions and for our day to day classes, if you are interested in being a part of our team in a voluntary capacity we would love to hear from you.
